Well we all know now there were no true werewolves in our beloved twilight saga. They are shape-shifters, however here's what we know
- created after being bitten by another werewolf, and are not typically wolves because of their genes or ancestors
- change at the full moon
- larger than shifters in appearance (when they are transformed)
- It's safe to assume that their abilities are similar as well
- werewolves can only be killed by another of their kind or by vampire
- Like all werewolves, Alphas are able to talk to pack-mates through their minds. Indeed, all thoughts are shared, whether the individuals like it or not. Alphas can also talk to other Alphas from different packs although the two Alphas choose which thoughts to share. The power of the Alpha comes from its pack. Also, Alphas can control their pack; if they command something to happen, the wolves must comply
- eye color is a distinguished florescent-blue (easy way to tell difference from shifter)
- able to reproduce though their werewolf genetics are rarely inherited
- Imprint
- Once bitten, their age accelerates until they reach maturity in which case they no longer age
- HIGHLY AGGRESSIVE
- Frequent mood swings
- Superhuman speed / senses
- After each transformation becomes drained both mentally and physically
- Communicate with body language and sounds equal to wolves.
Wolf traits/facts/werewolf stuff
- Fur coloration varies greatly, running from gray to gray-brown, all the way through the canine spectrum of white, red, brown, and black. These colors tend to mix in many populations to form predominantly blended individuals, though it is not uncommon for an individual or an entire population to be entirely one color (usually all black or all white)
- Wolf saliva has been shown to reduce bacterial infection in wounds and accelerate tissue regeneration (similar to the shape-shifters)
- Lone wolves are typically old specimens driven from their pack or young adults in search of new territory
- Normally, the pack consists of a male, a female, and their offspring, essentially making the pack a nuclear family
- generally consists of a male, a female, and their offspring, essentially making the pack a nuclear family
- Packs can contain between 2 and 20 wolves, though 8 is a more typical size
- Alpha Male
